AS&C services are provided by Dr. Ron Ozminkowski, an internationally recognized executive leader and expert in health economics, health promotion, health services research, and machine learning.  Recently, Ron established a consultancy called Analytic Strategies & Consulting, dedicated to deriving insights from domain expertise and data that help clients improve health and healthcare.

Ron’s executive experience includes 14 years in VP, SVP, and chief scientific officer roles, leading large groups of analysts.  His expertise is in building and developing analytic organizations; devising analytic strategies and roadmaps; improving research and reporting designs and methods; and communicating with professionals and policy makers worldwide by publishing, public speaking, and other thought leadership activities designed to improve the business of healthcare.

 

Ron has participated in over 200 in-depth collaborations with executive business leaders, doctors, nurses, social workers, policy makers, statisticians, economists, engineers, computer scientists, and financial analysts. These have resulted in over 120 peer-reviewed publications in medical and health services journals, along with another 40 book chapters and other professional publications.

 

Ron has also made over 160 professional conference presentations, ranging from keynote to podium and poster presentations at major medical and health services research and public health meetings.

Ron was educated at The University of Michigan -- Ann Arbor, receiving his PhD in Health Services Organization and Policy there, with an emphasis in Health Economics.  He also received two Masters degrees at Michigan, one in Applied Economics and one in Health Services Administration.  His Bachelors degree is with a dual major in Community Health Education and School Health Education, from SUNY Brockport.  Ron brings a blend of these perspectives to add value to the clients he serves.
